Accessory 785T Nuvi Garmin beta
This pedometer is as good as it sounds! It is simple to use and very accurate. My number one favorite feature of this pedometer is that you can carry it in your pocket or purse and it accurately counts your steps. If there happens to be a time when you have to clip it to your waist it comes with a removeable clip that works really well as well as a saftey clip. It is light weight and is a good size so that it is not too bulky to carry in your pocket. One might think that you could bump some of the buttons and mess up the count but it has never happened to me. It also keeps track of aerobic steps, calories, miles walked and seven days worth of steps. I would recommend this pedometer to anyone looking to buy one.

Rhodan Perry The Columbus about
This item is very useful because it allows us to quickly swap the Garmin Nuvi GPS from one car to the other. It is especially good that it can be placed on the dash where it can be seen without blocking either the instruments or view of traffic. Also, it can be easily moved to the right side for help with navigation by a passenger. It clings well. A window mount is not as practical because it places a GPS too far away, and also prevents use of a sun screen when the vehicle is parked.

Mad about Mounting Systems RAM RAM
I have 2 large short haired bulldogs who shed their huge winter coats every springs. Sometimes it looks like it snowed from the wads of dog hair that I pull off of them. Since buying this tool it really seems to help pull the underneath hair out. And best of all the dogs seem to enjoy it so it is a win-win for me.

Digital Western My Passport information
I bought this drive (WDBAAA5000ASL) elsewhere in a package that included a USB-wired desktop stand, a zip case, and the micro-to-std USB cable. I needed a small drive with this capacity to take a lot of data traveling with me. I knew from the get-go that I’d have to reformat it to use it with my iMac, so that was the first thing I did. I agree with other reviewers that the automatic backup software and its ever-present ‘virtual CD’ icon are completely annoying. I was disappointed that my simple disk-reformatting did not obliterate the software, but left it on its separate ‘virtual CD’ sector. However, my reformatting did inactivate the previously automatic, irrepressible attempts by the software to install itself. It would be nicer if I could recover that disk sector for my OWN use and not have to see the ‘virtual CD’ icon anymore.
I am writing to make folks aware of a different challenge when using this drive. This little guy needs a lot of power to boot up, and really ought to have come with its own power adapter. With Macintosh computers, this means either using a USB port on the main computer itself or using a self-powered USB hub. USB ports on Powerbook Macintoshes don’t supply enough power for the Passport, and the USB keyboards for iMacs are not self-powered, so they cannot offer the juice to boot up this drive (or any other USB-powered device).
I am now looking for a self-powered USB hub that will work. The USB standard that I have seen quoted is a device that supplies 5 volts/500mA per port. When I wrote to Western Digital asking how much power the Passport Essential needs, the answer is: “The Passport requires at least 650 mA to work properly.” WD’s workaround is to recommend using a ‘power booster cable’, which lets you plug in this single drive to 2 USB ports to suck power from both of them!! Given the ever-expanding demands of digital equipment for the USB connections on my computer, I am going to get a beefy USB hub or two, or three, or four..

Tube Schrader Slime Smart run out
I’m sure this will work okay if I need to use it, but the more I looked (after I ordered it, of course) the more I wished I’d ordered a plain tube. Some of the problems are the “slime” in the tube making a huge mess in some instances. I’d rather pay a lot less & buy a couple more regular tubes.
