This pedometer is the best. I love it. But it stopped working on me after a few weeks of use. Not sure why that happened. I wrote the company and they said they would replace it. So it’s all good. I just need to get around to doing that.

With classics like “Pay To Cum”, and “The Regulator”, along with never released sonic crusades like “You’re a Migraine”, the Bad Brains show that they were the masters of hardcore punk two years before their debut album turned everybody else into believers. If you like the Bad Brains but don’t own this, you better save your pennies and start practicing your air guitar.

I have the 2nd Generation Kindle and I simply love it. At first I missed the act of flipping pages, but I got over that so quick!
I have spent a small fortune [to me anyway] on kindle books since I received it in February. At least the prices are around half the cover price unless you shop somewhere like a bargain/used book store.
The only thing I dont like about the kindle is the text to speech. I’ve only attempted to use it once and the recording was awful! The man was so monotone that I turned it off within seconds. If the rest of the books are this way then I highly suggest someone working on this.
Other than that, this is the best investment I have made for myself in forever!

I like this particular Pedometer because I can drop it in my pocket at the beginning of the day and it will count my steps all day.I have also put it in my purse, but am not really sure of the accuracy of the count. I really like the fact that I don’t have to “dangle” it from my waist. Since I don’t often have belt loops, I dropped other pedometers more than a few times. I love knowing how many steps I take in a day and it automatically resets itself after midnight. I shoot for 10,000 steps a day.

Takes a little bit to get used to the “ribbon” toolbars. Helpful in writing papers. Lots of good features for all. Note: If you are going to send documents to others, most don’t have this version or higher, so remember to click the “save as” button and the more common older edition years button for Word 97-2003, so that they don’t have compatability problems.

I have begun writing a book and only had Works on the computer. I have had Word in the past so knew I had to get it for this project. When I read of the free update to 2010 I decided to go with the student edition. It has what I need and the 2007 edition price was right plus being able to use it on the desktop and laptop (3 computer family ).Good value compared to elsewhere.

I really liked this book, and I’m not quite sure why. The Catcher in the Rye is a novel narrated from the point of view of an angst-ridden 16-year-old that doesn’t have that great a vocabulary, is almost always depressed, whines about seemingly trivial things, and hates nearly everybody he meets (Except nuns and children). And it’s not as annoying as it sounds. Salinger was an immensely talented writer, and it’s a shame that he didn’t publish more.

This clips to just about everything. For outings it gets clippped to the car seat when we’re in the car. Then it gets clipped to the kelty back pack, the wagon, the conoe, the kayak, or whatever else we can think of. It is the best baby toy ever! However, it did break after one summer of use. The clip on the one side snapped off. It is now attached to my kayak by way of duct tape, so it’s still somewhat useable, as long as it stays in one spot.

The story moves cleverly between the world of 90, or possibly, 93 year old, Jacob, in a nursing home, as he tells the story of his life, the Depression era and the circus world.

He was twenty-three and almost ready to take his final exam, when he receives word that both of his parents were in a car accident and did not survive. There was no money as he sat to take his final exam to become a veterinarian. Feeling desperate Jacob jumps on a moving train instead. Having no idea he has jumped on a circus train, he decides he has nothing left and starts working with the circus. He meets a beautiful woman, Marlena, but finds out quickly she is married to a mad-man. However, she returns the attraction and a great love story begins.

Water for Elephants is a compelling story that tells us all about growing old, corrupt management, animal cruelty, wonderful animals, kindness and loyalty between people and between people and animals in a world where indifference and cruelty are common.

The author’s obvious extensive research of history and circus life added so much interest to the background of a wonderful meaningful, love story.

This is such a wonderful read and well worth your time!

this unit is easy and fun to use, light weight and easy to program even for a 62 year old. Gives me motivation by tracking my progress. Wish I got it years ago!
