Read about S8000 Coolpix Nikon 14 now

This is a great camera from Nikon. This is my first Nikon, but I am already loving it. It has so many features and is so compact that I can take it along anywhere. That is really what’s important to me, that and the fact that it has a 10X optical zoom. Optical zoom is a big determining factor for me when buying a camera.

Two thumbs way up!

Wow! 14 DSC Sony W370

This is my second Sony Cyber-Shot and, like the first, I love it. It has enough variables that you can control your picture quality and compensate for various conditions, yet is easy tom operate. The size is wonderful– small enough to fit in my pocket or take when I’m out biking. Yet it has a large screen and enough heft to actually feel something there. Like most of the new pocket cameras, it has far more mega pixels than you’ll ever need, but that’s not a problem, just a waste of technology. There are about 8 or 10 models of Cyber-Shots and I’d be hard put to tell anyone which is best. Just choose a price range and go for it. This one is a little gem.

Well, I have to admit that I was one of those people who REFUSED to read this series out of principle. This series had so much buzz around it- girls in their teens through twenties were swooning over a fictional bad boy, going to midnight book releases, dressing as brides and drawing bite marks on their wrists when attending twilight functions. This craze was rivaling Star Wars, and I refused to join in. While away for a four night trip to Canada with a few friends, a friend of mine spent every minute of our time in the hotel glued to this book. After gushing over the characters and describing the premise to me, I was intrigued enough to buy Twilight- in paperback- to read on an upcoming trip to Florida. I started the book the morning of my departure (6pm flight) and got through more than half of it before 1 pm. I made a pit-stop on my way to the airport at the local book store and picked up New Moon. For three days and three nights I was so involved in Twilight and New Moon (yes I even got through half of New Moon while away!) that I barely noticed the scorching sunburn I had acquired! **I have since repurchased the entire series in hardcover so that they would last my reading and re-reading!**

To give everyone an idea of my interests- my favorite shows are Veronica Mars, Roswell, Sex and the City, Buffy (the early years) Entourage, and Friends, and my book favorites are the chick lit of Emily Giffin, Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, and The Time Travelers Wife.

This book has it all!

The previous reviews pretty much sum up the premise of this book, so I will not get too carried away repeating a synopsis that has been rehashed a thousand times (literally!)

I will leave you with one last thought-
1. Don’t read this book because it’s such a “hit” or the new “craze”.
2. Don’t NOT read thi
