The Safe Sporter Baby

I really like this baby monitor. I feel its high-cost is justified by its high quality. The build is great and the feature-set is rich (although it lacks video). As long as you need all the features, this monitor is a great value.

Here’s my breakdown:

Pros:
Great range – worked from my second floor corner to the opposite first floor corner.
Great clarity – like promised, the sound quality is crystal-clear
Nice size – the units are MUCH SMALLER than the Amazon pictures portray them. Check the measurements.

Cons:
Pricey
No video (at this price, I feel it should have video)

Neutral:
Humidity and temperature gauges – for me (in CA) this seems like overkill. I guess I can see why people in other parts of the country may appreciate these features though.

In conclusion, this is a great monitor as long as you don’t want video AND you need humidity and temperature gauges. If you don’t want these two features, there are probably better/cheaper options available.

Recommended with reservations.
Philips AVENT DECT Baby

This is a good disc all around. The music is “purer” classical (vs. the reworked Einstein lullaby discs – that are a little too “kiddie” for me – the mother!
Sleepy Baby

When our son was 2 months old he had contact eczema from baby oil. It started and got very bad within one day. I decided to go natural and got the California baby body lotion from whole food market in the evening and applied it to him before going to bed. I just hoped that it should help reduce the rash. When we woke up it was all gone. At that time it really seemed like a miracle. I applied baby oil in the first place because he was having small white heads kind of acne all over his body when I was aveeno baby body wash and lotion. He didn’t get even those ever since I started using the California baby supersensitive body lotion and bodywash. Now he is 3.5months and I tried the regular body lotion from California baby and he doesn’t have any reaction to it. I would give 5stars to all the products from this brand.

Works great on my Siberian Husky-Wolf dog. Has helped keep down hair in house.
Casio Women s Baby

Great for little hands. I bought this for our 8 month old and she likes Baby Einstein Bendy Ball a lot. It’s great because she can hold onto it easily and the rattle inside intrigues her, she’s always trying to get at it. For the price, it’s a great purchase.

fun and versatile. I bought this for my son’s 1 year birthday. There was a little concern that he might be too old for this; not at all. He just loves crawling through the tunnel and playing peek-a-boo with Mommy as he gets to the other side. We have this in a central part of the home so that he can crawl through Baby Einstein Animal Exploration Tunnel as much as he wants.
