I purchased my Amazon Kindle 2 about a month ago and have loved it from the first day! It is easy use. Books download quickly with a tremendous selection. The screen is bright and easy to read. I especially like the dictionary that gives you the definition of any word by just placing the cursor in front of it.

Only thing missing is a back lighted screen when its dark. I bought the cover and its a great accessory. I love that its light, and smaller than hauling around books as I travel a lot. Great product!

SquareTrade 3 Year Camera

I have been using this product during my Mileage buildup for the upcoming Honolulu Marathon. The features help me train and keep me motivated with alarms that beep if too slow and if your heartrate isn’t where it needs to be. My only problem with it is that the map feature is a little dated and doesn’t reflect the actual routes I run. Also, it can take awhile for the GPS to sync with the satellite. Overall, I think the device works perfect for me. This is the only running GPS I have ever purchased so I have nothing else to compare it to.

I have found myself, a 38-year-old mother, prefering to read adolescent books over grown ups’ books. I have enjoyed the Harry Potter series and now, from others’ recommendation, the Artemis Fowl series. Eoin Colfer is a detailed writer who has created books that you find yourself wanting to read more of. Not perfect, but very entertaining.

I purchased this book because it was referred to several times in Neale Donald Walsch’s newest book “When Everything Changes: Change Everything,” which I have read twice. Even though I’m only about 40 pages into the book, I feel very comfortable with the information that Neale (God) shares. I highly recommend it to “anyone.”

okay, I’m a big fan of books. I never thought I would purchase something like this! Come on, I worked in book store! I love that I can look up any author, or genre that i would like to see. And it is so easy!

This is my second Otterbox defender case and I’m nothing but pleased with it. The latest style changes eliminate the fuzzy “echo” issues with the previous generation’s cases. The holster is solid, and while not waterproof is very “Element resistant.” The impact protection is outstanding-my 2 year old daughter was playing a shapes game that uses the accelorometer and ended up chucking my phone across the waiting room and into the wall of the Doctor’s office. Not so much as a hiccup with the phone.

Caveat: The bottom of this case allows for the OEM sync/charge cable to fit well. iGo tips, however, will NOT fit without removing your iPhone from the case. Many aftermarket cables won’t fit either due to them being squared off instead of thin & flat like the oem version. Nothing that can’t be mended with a Dremmel and careful sanding, but if you’re not comfortable with this or with the inability to use docking stations and generic cables then I’d look for a different protective solution.
-The case does cause “Watermarking” on the screen when installed. My solution was using a moirrored screen protector in conjunction with the otterbox. You can also sprinkle baby powder on the inside of the otterbox screen protector to help limit the watermarking.

Awesome lens. This lens has not let me down one b camera lense . There are better lenses in terms of zoom obviously, but the fact that it is image stabilized makes it great. I have taken some great pics at sporting events without knowing much more than the basics.

Sharp lens … amazing IS!!. I bought this lens mainly for the focal length and the IS feature. I figured that I would replace the lens within a year, once I had enough money because I was expecting this lens to be a typical mediocre lens. When I took picture of this lens to test it out, I was amazed. This lens is sharp at wide open apertures. I have taken pictures with many lenses (L class included) and this lens is a rarity in that it was sharpest wide open at each focal length.

The IS on this lens is unbelievable. I was able to take pictures at such low shutter speeds that I could have never been able to do without IS. The IS makes a little bit of noise (VERY minimal) which makes me happy because it shows you that it is working. I know you may not believe me, but I was able to take a picture at 1/15 at a focal length of 250mm and the image was sharp at 100% … no blur.

The focus is pretty good, but not as fast or sure as USM focus. The construction of this lens is not that of an L class, but for the price you paying, that is expected.

In my opinion, you get a lens to take good pictures and this lens does that, and some. I don’t buy lenses for their construction because I am not a photographer that would ever need a metal lens construction. Actually I would prefer this construction because it is so much lighter and easier to carry around. The only legitimate complaint about this lens is the focus, but it is still not an issue at all if you are in a place that is not dark. But then again, why would you be using this lens in the dark with f/4..0-5.6 as its largest aperture.

In summary: if you want a lens that takes sharp pictures with a nice telephoto range of focal lengths and some great IS, then this is the lens for you.

Nifty Two-Fifty is a Great Lens. I am a middle-of-the-road photographer ~ not a pro, but not a novice. This is my first non-kit lens & I LOVE it. The number of ‘keeper’ photos increased immensely with the addition of this lens. It is well worth the money & deserves the nickname Canon Photography On The Net gave it – nifty two fifty.
