I was delighted to find the FURminator at amazon.com at a huge discount. The product really works on my dog, a mix of German Shepherd and Border Collie. When I don’t use it, my carpeting turns black from clumps of fur.

This Little Light Of

This is the second Wii I have owned. I had one about a year ago and sold it and just got another one cause I missed it so much. It is def. a lot of fun for the whole family to play. We have several games and I have not got one that I have not liked. If you are thinking about getting a Wii do it.
Little Stories of Inspiration

Artemis Fowl was the recipient of the accusation in the title of this review, but even though he is a thief, he is also much more. The twelve-year-old genius has decided to use his intelligence to pursue a life of crime, so we find an unusual situation. A story with an evil main character is not a completely new concept; Jean-Baptiste Grenouille in the outstanding “Perfume: The Story of a Murderer” or Serge A. Storms in the series of books by Tim Dorsey come to mind. If we go into a different media, then Tony Soprano is one of the most famous examples in our time. What is novel though, is using this concept in a book targeted to young adults, and this is certainly a reason for controversy. I have to say though that the final product is so good, that the good aspects of this effort more than overcome this “drawback”.

Artemis Fowl descends from a prestigious family of billionaires that a few years ago suffered a reversal of fortune. His father has disappeared and is presumed dead and her mother has gone crazy with grief. Artemis is decided to return his family to where it is supposed to be and crafts a plan designed to do just this. To try to accomplish his goal, he uses the help of Butler, a mountain of a man, expert in combat, and who as his name suggests is Artemis’ butler, and Juliet, Butler’s sister. The plan involves kidnapping a fairy and then getting a ransom in gold, which is a lot harder than it sounds.

The story involves a myriad of creatures besides fairies, such as goblins, elves, dwarves, centaurs and trolls. These variety allows the author to create several characters within each one of these groups that are interesting, peculiar and endearing. But the creative process does not stop there, since the author uses some of these peculiar characteristics, as well as some acute comments to make us laugh us loud in the middle of the action. It has taken an incredible amount of courage for Mr. Walsch to bring forth these revelations from his heart, mind, and soul. These books have touched me deeply, and have changed my life.

It is interesting that the vast majority of people who have written negative reviews have done so with the idea that the books violate “the one true religion” – which, of course, is the one that THEY believe in. Satan is a convenient excuse to deny and reject anything outside of one’s own belief system.

And since when is the Bible “the only revealed truth of God”? Are all other holy books wrong, then? It is this kind of thinking that has started, and perpetuated, all kinds of religious wars in human history.

And remember, the same things that these people say about the CWG books were also said about Jesus during his time here on Earth.

Through these books, I have learned to be more tolerant and understanding of others’ beliefs, and to realize that we need to create a worldwide community of understanding if we are to stay alive as a species.

And even if you don’t like the book, hopefully it will inspire you to go out and find what it is that YOU truly believe in – which is hopefully something that is in your heart (not in the pages of a book written by someone else).

The machine setup was simple and quick and required just a phillips screwdriver. The instructions were well written and easy to follow. I did just one room this afternoon and was blown away by the amount of dirt this machine suck out my carpet. Machine clean up was fairly simple. Hoover did a great job on this machine.
