I quite enjoyed this one. Normally I am not a big fan of constant point-of-view switches, but these are done smoothly and sensibly; not disjointing at all. The characters are great fun to follow along, and the story had me wanting to jump right back in to see what happened next.

I loved this book. Don’t get me wrong, there were a couple moments where I doubted the practicality of some events, but overall I thought it was quite believable. Gruen beautifully paints pictures with her words, and I felt that the story unfolded at a perfect pace. The only thing I didn’t like was the way Marlena, the female protagonist, was portrayed. I’m not a fan of weepy women. Besides that, I thought it was fantastic.

This book was such a wonderful read! I enjoyed each chapter and was enthralled by the story. It is by far the best book I’ve read in a very long time. And readers are reminded of a beautiful and important lesson – always, always treat others with respect. The golden rule is golden for a reason!

This Hoover SteamVac Carpet Cleaner with Clean Surge, FS914-900 is really good. In my own experience with it: It cleans as well as a professional carpet cleaner or actually better. You do have to go over bad spots afew times, but I’ve had professional carpet cleaners who did not do this or if they did, the spot didn’t come as clean as when I did it with my cleaner. I admit my carpets were really bad since they hadn’t been cleaned in a year and I have a new puppy. With the ground in dirt and puppy pittles I really was pleasantly surprised when I first cleaned the carpet. I also used the Hoover Premium Pet Formula cleaning solution,smells great. I poored it on in really bad spots, let it soak in afew minutes and to be perfectly honest my carpets were so bad that I actually had to clean the carpet twice in order for the water to be fairly clean and get the urine smell out. The carpets looked good with the first round, but I am abit of a perfectionalist who if I still saw alittle stain…I’m going get it! The carpet cleaner’s easy to put together on arrival. I like that it has a separate tank for dirty water and one for the cleaning water/solution. I must say that you do have to change the dirty water frequently. It’s best to use really hot water when cleaning. The machine is made of hard plastic,but study and easy to handle. I would recommend this carpet cleaner as: a reasonablely priced and very good cleaner.

I use this watch/cheststrap for training and racing in 10-13 mile trail races. The GPS, once locked, keeps signal even in the woods on single-track trails. The chest strap works flawlessly for HR measurements. The computer interface is a bit rudimentary, but at least lets you review your runs on a computer. I would like to see better export functionality in the future.

This is my first Ipod Touch and I just got it very recently. Brand new. Like it very much. Did mostly what it supposed too. Except for the headphone plug-in place don’t seem to hold very well. I tried the headphone that came with the Ipod and another headphone but they both seem to be very loosely attach to the Ipod. Doesn’t seem to plug all the way. Is it normal?? It created difficulties when I walk around with the Ipod because everytime the headphone unplugged the music stop and I can’t seem to be able to make any big movement while holding the Ipod due to this. I would love to know very much if this problem is normal or it’s just my Ipod!! It was like that from the first time I tried the headphone in.

I always heard that this book was a classic and must be read, blah, blah, blah. Well, I finally did and its all that and more. I’m actually upset that I didn’t read this in high school because Holden Caufield reminds me of myself at that age. Salinger’s voice of a the teenage main charcater is so on point its really amazing. Every college freshmen, especially males, should be made to read this. Classic!
